Blocta ist nur 1437 in Inden als ly blocta belegt. Zwar ist die Form unklar; es handelt sich aber wohl um ein Partizip zum frz. bloquer (GPSR 2, 422 s.), hier wohl in der Bedeutung ‘Wiese mit Felsbrocken’. Vgl. hierzu auch FEW (15, 1, 163 ff. s. v. blok (ndl.) block). Diese Deutung bleibt allerdings unsicher.
